The Norfork and Bull Shoals dam reports are on a
four hour satellite delay and unable to give you
current river generation reports. These reports can,
however, give you an idea of what's been
happening. You can use this information to
help determine if there are wadable areas on both
tailwaters.
A good way to determine how much water is being
released is to divide the cfs (Cubic Feet per
Second) discharge amount by 3250. That will
give you the equivalent of generators running at
100%. One full generator equals about 12-18"
of rise to the water level.
For real time information call (870) 431-5311.
This will give you the number of generators that are
running but will not give you the percentage.
